"INTO THE NIGHT(SIDE-B)"

     Guys, are you ready for the dice rolling? Well, I'm going to cut you some slack, take a break from this dice-rolling stuff, and let's dive right into the blog "INTO THE NIGHT (SIDE-B)." Well, you might be wondering what's up with the SIDE-B—to find out, you need to read the blog.

'Mushtaq' and 'Abhilash's' little adventure (featured in INTO THE NIGHT) of escaping out of the school has spread like wildfire to all the houses, like tales of valor discussed by all, and similarly, it has become a topic of discussion in Tungabhadra House. If you have no clue about our house, Tungabhadra is one of the four houses of our school—simply think of it as the "Gryffindor" of SSKAL. Now, coming to the story: sitting in the dormitory is me, deeply inspired by their act of breaking out of school that I wanted to experience it myself. I made up my mind to break out of Shawshank (a.k.a. Sainik School Kalikiri), and I consulted Abhilash to gain all the information needed to design a foolproof plan, and he gave copious details of their adventure.

   I did all the planning but in order to execute I needed a wingman, Some guy who is fit, who is slimy, someone who is brave enough and most of all whom I can trust. Thus I scouted my entire house for someone who could fill the post and frankly speaking everyone refused my offer down and only my best friend Charan was gullible enough to accept it. People called him Cherry(God I hated that name), he is a fatso, gossips a lot and most of all he was the then House Captain of Tungabhadra House(Technically speaking cherry didn't even tick even a single box to be the wingman I was looking for). I somehow persuaded him to be my wingman.

    Cherry was initially Skeptical about the whole plan and exactly at that point I used the Brahmashtra to lure him in which was "Fried Chicken" I told him first thing we'll do be as soon as we get out is to visit a food joint and 'Voila!' it worked. We planned to initiate our operation right after ROLLCALL and luckily the rollcall was over quickly, boy It'd go on for hours sometimes. Well in the meantime we planted our friends Sandeep and Naveen as our reconnaissance we wore hoodies and tracks along with shoes and geared up to embark on the biggest covert operation of our life.

    Thus began the tale of "INTO THE NIGHT(SIDE-B)" first step was to escape the security guards to reach a vantage point behind the mess so as to take a leap to the other side and as we got for a signal from our reconnaissance team that we were in the clear we jumped to the other side and after landing there we were absolutely stupefied to see ourselves surrounded by a ton of dry thorn bushes and the thorns were completely out of the syllabus, Abhilash mentioned nothing about the thorns but somehow we mustered up the courage to move forward and since it was my plan I had to lead so I was going ahead followed by 'Cherry' well I had no clue so I was slowly navigating through the 10 yards of thorns when I suddenly realized a hand shoving me and before I could realize Cherry was pushing me using me a shield so he could move forward without any hazard and as we reached the end of it I couldn't keep a balance and fell down on the thorns itself but luckily the nightmare was over and we reached the land I could clearly remember myself sitting on the ground and noticing Cherry giggling beside me without a scratch on him, speaking of myself I surely knew thorns have pierced my body but what baffled me most was that I was so numb from adrenalin rush that I couldn't feel any pain. I was relieved that we made it out of the labyrinth of thorns alive and as we started walking we began to feel safe and out of danger but to our dismay no sooner did we realize that this was just the beginning the and the real danger is awaiting us, well that's for another part so stay tuned for part2........
